Lauren and Alex met as freshmen in algebra class and went on one "date" that quickly fizzled out. They lost touch but reconnected as friends a few years later. That friendship eventually blossomed into a romance during the Spring of their senior year. Nine years later, Lauren and Alex, tied the knot this past June in a charming, intimate ceremony at the Waverley Country Club in Portland, Oregon. Lauren’s parents are longtime members of the club, and growing up in Portland, Lauren recalls many fond memories from her time there. Not to mention, her parents wed there over 30 years ago - it seemed like the perfect tradition to keep going.
As the bride shared with us; “it was a perfect day, we wish we could do it all over again.” Finding the perfect dress was just the icing on the cake during a trip to San Francisco with her mother. She chose to wear the Marie, a vintage inspired sheer lace V-neck trumpet wedding gown that complimented the charm and atmosphere of their venue effortlessly. Congratulations, Lauren and Alex! We wish you a lifetime of happiness and cheer.
